The new year is often a time for looking back and we’re looking back some 500 years to reimagine Romeo & Juliet. & JULIET explores what would happen if Juliet had decided to pursue her own life and love. What ensues is a hilarious and heartwarming journey where you’ll laugh and cry as William Shakespeare rewrites one of his classics on the fly.

The Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands is the home of commercially successful and internationally acclaimed Broadway spectacles and concerts by a roster of regional and international actors and stars. The venue is technically tailored and designed to meet the extensive range of acts and shows and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment.

Nine-time Tony-nominated jukebox musical & JULIET is now running for a limited time at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, which features original Australian cast members Jade Delmiguez (Eleanor) and Jerome Javier (Thomas), who share Filipino roots. Jade was born in New Zealand but can speak some Bisayan language. On the other hand, Jerome was born in the Philippines, and their family immigrated to Australia when he was seven.

Sydney finally receives a fully staged professional production of JEKYLL AND HYDE THE MUSICAL, the musical theatre interpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novella.  Under Hayden Tee’s direction the gothic exploration of the duality of human behavior is given a 20th century update with a significant change of setting from the Victorian England to a post WWII military hospital. 

The battle between good and evil has commenced, with rehearsals starting this week for the upcoming Australian professional production premiere of Jekyll and Hyde produced by Hayes Theatre Co. The enthralling and chilling tale is being brought to life by an energetic and talented cast of 13 who have come together in preparation for their first performance on 29 July at the intimate Hayes Theatre.
