(5/16/2012) The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents the 26th annual Pittsburgh INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL, Wednesday, May 16, through Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the University of Pittsburgh Theaters and Schenley Plaza. Programming will showcase international and local theater premieres, including a brand new interactive luminarium installation on the festival grounds.

(5/14/2012) The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is bringing a Late Night Cabaret favorite to an earlier time this week. Chris Laitta has performed “TV Tunes” all over Western PA for several years now, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is able to present her for one night only, before the Pittsburgh CLO opens "Girls Only – The Secret Comedy of Women," in which Ms. Laitta will also be featured. Cabaret veteran Joe Domencic will accompany Ms. Laitta on piano.

In 2012, Yanni brings his tour to North America, followed by a South American tour in the fall, and a multi-city tour of China in 2013. (4/28/2012) Even though there was just one woman on stage during Lily Tomlin's performance at the Byham Theater, the audience was treated to a full cast of Tomlin's most classic characters. Tomlin, a comedy and show business legend at 72, bounded onto the stage and immediately connected with this Pittsburgh audience by launching into a cheer about Pittsburgh's three rivers. That was the start of an interesting evening that was a smooth mix of Tomlin's intelligent wit and showcases of her many well known characters.
